Just thinking

I love to look at church billboards and read the little'' sayings''sometimes it's some great philosophers deep thoughts or sometimes a prayer for people,or even a bible verse.I like these because sometimes they can be pretty thoughtful in there meaning.However the one that really caught my heart was the one that had one word.......FORGIVENESS........need i say more?

Football

Well the time comes once again......Football season!!!!!I already have all my cupons to all the b-b-q joints in town...hahaa!!You can't watch the Bulldogs without good'ole finger lickin' b-b-q!!!So get ready to have your a##'S handed to Y'ALL... It's time to trow down!

Never Enogh Time

well today is the first day i've been home before 6:00 p.m.........my day starts at 4:30a.m.....so i have VERY long days.I'm looking foward to spending the rest of the night with gavin so i'll see ya'll!!!!!

Wow

Okay life is just going to fast.My son Gavin is about to start preschool.He's only 2 but i feel like tomorrow he will be in high school,driving his first car,and asking me about the birds,and the bees.I know I'm going a little fast,but it makes me feel like I'm going to be 85 tomorrow!!Right now he's in that stage were he never wants me to go,but tomorrow he'll wish i would just leave.........

We love Britney more than Jesus

Okay,I really can't understand why we have this devotion to celebrities more than our own faith.Well i think the devotion is more like obsession......everywhere you turn it's Britney smoked crack with her baby in her hand,or Brad Pitt slept with his baby sitter.For one I'm broken hearted to see all of us more interested in what color Tom Cruise's baby's eyes are,then to hear about some dude dying on a cross.I mean thats WAY more important than where my soul spends eternity!!!What would I ever do if i did not know who won an oscar???I'll tell you what i'd do....keep on living..the same life..i could give a crap less.....However,this dude who died on the cross.......what if we cared more about his sacarfice?After all we were intented to be one with him!!Not Britney Spears,could you imagine ''for God so love the world He sent these wonderful celebrities for us to worship,and whosoever buys people magazine shall have eternal life''...HA!We'd all be at the feet of God.To sum this up I think we need not to idolize these people,and look to Him,because all we're doing is setting ourselves up to look like fools.Will Britney let you hang out with her just because you know what her favorite hair color is?Will Miley Cyrus hang out with your kid just because you bought them all her albums???NO!!!!However you can spend a eternity with the one who made this possible just by believing in Him...........

Small Groups

Wow the great times keep rolling. My wife and I attended a small group meeting for our church with the intentions of becoming small group leaders.............At first we were a little nervous,but the thing about it is that we had to keep telling ourselves that its not about us....it's about HIM!! I think the motto of our church is fabulous....LEADING PEOPLE FROM WHERE THEY ARE TO WHERE GOD WANTS THEM TO BE..... With this being said i believe that through Him,He will give us the strength we need to be His to do just that. Leading people from where they are to where God needs them to be! I'm like wow, God chose me to be a small group minister........if you know me,and know my background you'll see the grace of God.I guess that was Gods plan all along (brokeness,grace,redemption....and so on) Not to get off on a tangent........but back to the matter at hand. Leading a small group is going to be one of the coolest things to do for me ,because He can take my mind off me to focus it on others.I'll keep you guys posted on my progress..

MK VS DC

Dude, i can't wait 'till the new MK VS DC COMICS comes out. I've played MK since i was a kid!I would drain my folks dry of there change just to play.I got an xbox 360 so I'm stoked to see how the players are going to look on my HDTV.......I'll keep y'all posted on that one !

I'm new to this

Hey y'all I'm new to the whole blogging thing,however I hope all you guys enjoy some of my posts. I would like to give you all some insight to who i am........I'm a hard working,line walking,never enough time having,Jesus following,loving husband, and proud father.Though out my blogs I hope to vent (of course that's why there here) share my interest,my family,my beliefs and my take on this mad mad world.
